Hi Stew, what size area are you hoping to water with the sprinkler? I have an allotment 9 x 19m and use a couple of cans for 2 -3 initial focused waterings and find that, in an average spring/ summer, that is sufficient for most plants to get their feet down and find moisture at deeper levels.
