Maybe I should not mention that I’ve harvested a couple of parsnips sown at the end of march, both typical carrot size. Nice too. First time I’ve grown them, and they did well. I guess no-one grows them as a summer/autumn crop? Presumably the appeal is as winter nosh. I’m leaving the rest.
