Green pods: I have found that depodding the beans out of green pods mean they need to be used fresh, or put in bags in a deep freeze. If you leave them to dry, they tend to shrivel and discolour.
Or n their pods you can keep them for ?how long I am unsure, i.
Or leave them on the plant until a frost is forecast – I have some still maturing out on the plants.
