My beans all now through (although I think the birds dug up about three seeds and had them) – 4 – 5 weeks until emergence this year.
That has been eclipsed by garlic cloves from Moravia, enthusiastically sold to me by the Garlic Farm at a London Show in October. They have now started to emerge 7 weeks after a planting at the beginning of November.
Clearly, they have ESP as I was just about to ring up TGF to politely enquire whether they had sold me a lemon?!
The mild autumn/early winter has clearly confused plants this year…….
