Thank you so much for posting this. I have now identified my perennial kale – which was gifted to me and previously only known as cottage kale – as Taunton Deane Kale. Brilliant! Mine grows pretty big, gets blown over in strong winds, is really easy to propagate and is much loved by all the local pigeons (I don’t have the heart to net it and at least it keeps them occupied and ignoring my other brassicas lol!).
