It is frustrating when so many factors could be involved. I guess the best solution would be to practice some restraint! Think my/our best bet would be to only plant F1 varieties especially since the warm season is so short.
ps: Charles, the Bingenheim non-hybrid cuc u tried was Arola 🙂
