Yes Rhys, it makes gardening sound difficult and gives power to chemistry experts.
For me an example was the compost I was given last year by Arthur Bower. Nothing grew, or v stunted. This a compost from a company with resources to measure its attributes.
Even after I returned it for checking in their labs, they could not find a problem.
They just needed to grow something in it.
