My thoughts are turning to getting the local Horticultural Societies/Allotment Associations to consider a joint purchase.
Of course it needs enough people who would pay the premium, but 30 bags of 40 litres probably only needs 10 people tops to justify it.
London Borough of Hillingdon organises a pow-wow in early April for all those interested in the Britain in Bloom competition and the Borough show in September, so I’ll try and have a word then.
Maybe you have something similar in Sheffield?
