Whew! All 9 basil varieties germinated this morning except for 1 (I suspect that these seeds are old as I had them for a couple of years – the seeds aren’t absorbing the moisture like the others are with the translucent bubble looking thingy…haha)
I may just re-sow some tomorrow in a seed tray with drainage holes as a contingency plan. Thanks Charles for the heads-up on the tricky bit about basil.
Just sowed a batch of cucumbers, courgettes, pumpkins and sweetcorn today. Fingers crossed!
