Interesting that you are finding some compost better than others for certain veg. I’ve just placed my order with Tamar and postage is free on orders over £20 and I’m hoping this will be a compost that, whilst a little pricey, will deliver good growth for everything and therefore allow things to remain fairly simple. We’ll see I suppose, but Charles isn’t doing badly with it!
