if you ever get the chance to visit Charles’garden, take it. It is awesome and inspiring. He has an open day in the summer and runs regular day courses as well.
I started using Charles’ methods three years ago and things get better each year.
My biggest learnings have been the importance of making good compost (plants grow more healthily and resist pests much better in good compost) and finding good sources of high quality compost to sow seeds in modules (Klassmann-Deilmann professional compost and Moorland gold are two good ones) which I sourced from smaller Uk suppliers (including Real Seeds, Seeds of Italy). It is only in year 3 that the benefits of enough good compost for the plot are making themselves felt.
Ultimately, you have to follow the journey yourself. Good luck and enjoy it!
