Hi Jamie, I suggest polythene for a whole season, say until October.
In the tunnel it may be worth removing the wooden sides before laying polythene, to ensure 100% light exclusion.
Go right to all edges, even beyond… to ensure there is as little as possible that can creep back in, and lay stakes etc along edges so that light does not creep under. 100% darkness is important.
