Sorry I seem to be having a technical hitch – my question seems to have disappeared (on my screen anyway) when I tried to replace the photo file which was too big. Here’s the question again:

I acquired my first allotment in May, and thanks to stumbling on Charles’s Youtube channel, I managed to have a pretty good and enjoyable first year using the no-dig principles. I am now thinking about how to improve my plot – I kept half covered, so will make this into more beds for next year, but my question is about the paths and beds I inherited and worked on this year – they are wood edged (mostly rotting now) and with un-cemented slab paths. I live in South Wales and we have a lot of very vorascious slugs, so I’m thinking of converting to sideless beds. I’m wondering what I should best do about the paths – just leave them as they are (they will I guess get some mulch ‘fall out’ from the beds) or actually remove/repurpose them and mulch them?
