Reply To: Couch grass in established asparagus bed

When I took over my allotment, I gently teased out 2 barrow loads of couch grass from the asparagus bed. I may have damaged a bit of the asparagus but it’s doing well. By lifting out or pulling any grass I see, there is very little now in year 3.
