A real treat in winter salads

I find these really easy to grow, the only slight down side is that if your soil is not very deep they push up put of the ground where they are more likely to suffer slug and frost damage. Mine frequently make a foot to 18 inches long from a late sowing. Which I find does not generally suffer too much from flea beetle or caterpillar damage ( I have real problems with flea beetle between about mid April and August). I have just finished cropping, having harvested all winter.
