I imagine you have found growth ok in springs past, after flooding? So it is a question of degree this year. The deposited loam sounds good, duck droppings… and nutrient profile should be ok as I understand it but it is more a question of soil life and how well it has survived. I shall be interested to hear from you as summer unfolds, others will have more to say I am sure.
