Sounds ideal Bluebell,presumably you have grown Witloof, large plants and they are not bred for autumn hearting (nor are Treviso’s although the seed packets make you think they are!) so dig them any time from now… but no rush and they don’t hurt in soil, say by Christmas at the latest, to give time for forcing.
