Hi Ros, I have a 16in Hayter petrol rotary that gets pretty close and I can`t see a push mower being that much different although I agree about the noise thing. I`m going to rely on getting the edging boards firmly and accurately positioned, with the supports on the inside. Obviously regular mowing will make a difference. I just want to minimise the tedious work of keeping the edges tidy.
