Thanks I forgot to mention shallots! In fact there is no rush unless you are on free draining soil, in which case I would plant them now as they do not bolt in the way that onion sets do. But after years of planting shallot bulbs in March, with good results, I now pop them in at the same time.
Also you can sow shallot seeds now.
