shallots and garlic to plant

 Funnily enough I was just recommending a friend to save his own garlic for planting, (the finest and largest bulbs, broken into cloves) and you can do the same for shallots, except it is better to use medium size ones not the largest. For onions I don’t plant them in autumn and don’t know of a good site, I would start with http://www.organiccatalogue.com.
