Thanks for your response Charles. We still can’t get on ours but other plot holders have been digging to try and dry out the soil and there are still worms at least . In previous years we grow ok veg but nothing does really well , even with copious amounts of manure. I have just got some rock dust to use so that might make a difference. Our fruit trees are in bud so don’t seem affected. Our strawberries, gooseberries and raspberries normally recover but this is the longest time they have ever been under so much water. It goes to show that these plants are more resilient than we think they are, at least they haven’t been frozen as well! I’ll let you know how we get on.
