Emma it depends on the variety, whether they are tall peas (2m high) or medium (75cm high).

Fine, tall peas 6in in rows 4ft apart
Medium peas 6in in rows 18-20in apart
    This for pods.
    For pea shoots 9-10in apart.

Hi, thanks for answering, so just to be clear if i have a 2×1.5metre bed with an A frame on it for climbing, i’m looking at possibly 6 pea modules, with 1 in the middle and 1 more of less at either end on both sides, 6 in total, this doesnt seem a lot for the size of bed, have i got my calculations wrong? sorry i won’t take up anymore of your time, its just i’ve never grown peas before.
    regards

Complicated, still unsure if you mean you are growing some of both types on the one bed.

Say medium peas one end, two rows across the 1.5m width of bed @ 6in gives 10 modules per row, 20 altogether.

Then tall peas at other end, one row of 10 modules, across the 1.5m, about 6in from the end of the bed. This allows a fairly wide space in the bed’s middle. You could plant some lettuce or spinach to use that before peas get big.
