Adequate space for salads?

Can anyone advise on an adequate area for the growing of salads? I have raised beds of 1.2m width. We are a family of four and eat salad a couple of times a week. I don’t want to waste valuable growing space (for roots etc) for salads that don’t get eaten. Thanks, Tom

 I suggest 1.2m length. Depends on compost, weather, seeds, picking method! also, to have enough, you need a small surplus, hope it grows for you.
