Hi all. Have just bought some lacewing larvae for my aubergines which have been harbouring aphids for a couple of weeks. I have forty plants under glass which are doing really well apart from the aphids ! Has anyone tried this method and does it work? I have some parasitic wasps coming in three weeks for ongoing protection. Also, how many fruit should I allow to grow on each plant? Same question for my sweet peppers – in the same greenhouse. They all have lots coming!

    Hi Chris,

You could try spraying them off with a jet of water or spray with soapy water.
Also there are organically approved sprays, such as Pyrol Bug & Larvae Killer or Vitax Organic Pest and Disease Control which you could use.

    Don.
