Hi Charles
Please can you tell me the best way to care for some potted on basil cuttings. They are not in good shape as they were left in a very hot conservatory for three days and had a lot of shrivelled leaves which I’ve picked off so they look quite sad.

Well Sahira this is new to me as I always grow it from seed. Maybe the cuttings are about to expire and you should try some new ones as there must be plenty of parent material at the moment? Otherwise a polythene bag over their pots and place them out of sun.
