Morning Charles
This year I grew my usual White Emergo beans in a bed with various french bean varieties and some borlotti’s and about 30% of the Emergo produced completely black beans inside instead of the usual white! Is this cross pollination?I don’t think that runners cross with French, am not 100% sure though.
Possibly there was some “black bean” gene in the seeds you sowed.
