    I just got back from my allotment and I am a bit alarm to see the tips on at least seven of my new plants are inky black? does any one know what this is?, its like some one dipped the tips in black ink, I ask others on the allotment near me and no one seems to know.

    My broad bean plants sometimes do this in winter and most recover. I don’t know what is the cause or how to prevent it
