I have grown calabrese romanesco for the first time this year and my early plantings have gone well. I am now cutting reasonably sized curds and wondered if the plants will produce secondary curds if I leave them. Anyone got any experience/knowledge of this veg?

    Cheers

Hi Pete, I wonder if you will have more buds but have never grown Romanesco at this time of year, grew it in autumn last year from sowing now and it was frosted in late November while heading!

I think I`ll dig them up because they`re taking up a lot of space and I could do to get some more winter greens in.
