Hello – very excited about beginning my journey into no dig! I have 18 raised beds which I have constructed over the last four years, and I have recently added two inches each of mushroom compost and a beautiful looking green compost which I got from my local builders supplies – my question is simply, can I plant my baby winter brassica plants directly into this mix, or do I need to wait? I have covered the beds with black sheeting to await your replies…Many thanks and look forward to hearing from you

Hello Anna, this sounds good and yes, you can plant ans sow straightaway or whenever you need to. Check for slugs when you remove the sheeting…. and I wish you happy growing.
