    Hi Charles

My seedling celeriac, in plugs, is about 25mm tall with a couple of true leaves. I need to plant out, probably under fleece, in ten days time before I go on holiday. You talk about your success in transplanting young seedlings and my experience suggests that, when possible, plants are better off in the ground. We tend not to get May frosts in sunny Exmouth. I should appreciate your advice.

    Best wishes,
    John

Not sure how long your holiday is but yes I would plant them as you are warmer than most of us, also probably you have less slugs as they can be an issue with young celeriac.
