In the past, I have had difficulty growing celery. Next year I was thinking of growing cut and come again celery, or leaf celery. Has anyone grown either of these, what success, and was it nice to eat and worth growing? Looking forward to some advice.

Yes it certainly keeps producing, with thinner and less crunchy stems than head celery. Sow in July is good for growing undercover through winter, as it resists quite a bit of frost (not sure how much) and thrives when out of the wind in cold weather. Good for making tasty stocks and soups.

I grew celery leaf last winter in a rather draughty polytunnel. Two plants produced an abundance of leaves all through the winter until late spring, when it went to seed. Really delicious in stocks, soups and stews.
