Hi all I am looking for ideas for things I could sell for Red Nose Day on 13th March.
I have jams and pickles covered but was wondering if I could come up with some seedlings that may interest people? May be mixed pots of lettuce, sweet peas? Any ideas people?
    Thanks Jan

    Hi Jan,

Thats a tough one for many reasons but how about some herb plants.
You can sow Parsley & Coriander indoors in February and hopefully have a small plant/seedling by mid March.

If you sow tomato seeds and transplant indoors, they will be nicely in 8cm pots by mid-March.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I will also do a few chilli plants as a quick once round the office shows most people enjoy spicy food and being in London they probably have almost as much windowsill space as garden! For the same reasons pots of herbs sound viable.

The thing with Herbs is that most people will use them and with care can live for quite a considerable time. Plus of course they can be grown indoor as well as outdoor so space is less of an issue.

    Don.
