Hi everyone
Does anyone have experience of growing chickpeas are they suitable for (normal!) UK climate and any suggested varieties?

AlastairI tried them once, for minimal harvest. May work in the heat of London.
You’d have to grow loads, and I means loads, to get a decent harvest. Although I was intrigued by the plant, I didn’t think it was worth it. Was a waste of space and could have used the land, time and effort growing a more productive crop.
