coffee grounds

Hello,

I am new to no dig . And still trying to get my head around it. Have watched a couple of videos on you tube. And am getting there.

But i have access to large quantity’s of used coffee grounds. Which are very fresh. Is this any good for an allotment . To help with fertility ? And if so how much do i need to layer it . Plus will my lovely wormies like it? And should i put cardboard and manure over the top or underneath it ?

As i have had the allotment for 4 years. While i only have little top weeds. My ground is poor and needs all the help i can give it. As it looks grey instead of lovely black or dark brown. I have put soil conditioner on to help break up the soil
(heavy clay).

So if anyone can help please let me know thank you

Most that I obtain goes in the compost heaps but I have spread some on my raised beds to gradually rot down.

Hello,

Oh that was so helpful. Was spreading them on the surface. But have them by the quarter black back . It does not go far over the course of a week i have a tiny patch. But after reading that i will keep going with it.
So would be good for nitrogen loving plants? And about to get a polytunnel so may help the soil in that too?
