I planted raspberry canes, blueberry bushes, thornless boysenberry canes and strawberries here in California before I knew of the no dig method. Later, I planted rows of vegetables with the no dig method and they have been so demonstrably productive that I’m wondering if there’s a way to go back and modify the old fruit growing areas to incorporate these ideas as fully as possible. What might be the best way to do that?

    Mulch, mulch, mulch again.
