Hi Charles, I seem to remember you seed saving some coriander ‘Calypso’ either last year or the previous, and I wondered how it worked out? I have 3 – 4 plants flowering in my greenhouse and I’m considering leaving them to seed as we really like the stuff; can you envisage any issues if I plant a tomato either side of them?

Yes I let a few plants seed, of different vegetables, they all grew bigger than i Expected so this is worth considering especially if you let 3 or 4 go to seed.
Its meant to be better to have more than one plant, for a wider gene pool.
So your tomatoes will be a bit affected and I expect the coriander will be fine.

That’s great, thanks. I’ll stake and tie them, then leave them to do their thing whilst trying the tomatoes around them. Very light frost here this morning in North Yorkshire but the sun is now shining, hope the same down in Somerset…
