    Hello
I’m hoping that someone can recommend a coriander variety for seed production. Or perhaps just a variety which isn’t bred for slow bolting. Or could I just buy a bag of coriander seeds from an Asian grocer’s ? Presumably they would have been grown for seed rather than leaf, although I’m not entirely certain that coriander is bred separately for leaf and seed production.

I grew a large bed of coriander last year, which produced plenty of seed, but it took over four months to get to unripe green seed, which is what I’m aiming to harvest.

I realise that this post is somewhat ironic, considering all the talk about coriander is how to stop it bolting, which is all I can find on the internet!

    Thank you for any suggestions.

Good point that most varieties are bred for leaf, so I would try something like this http://www.dtbrownseeds.co.uk/Vegetable-Seeds-1/Herb-Seed_2/Herbs-Coriander-Seeds.html#.VxchrmPxP0c where its a standard variety with no claim to produce leaves for a long time, unlike the Leisure variety which they also sell.
