Cucumber glut

    Hi I have a glut of ridge cucumbers and am planning on a pickling session. But I have never pickled ridge cucumbers – should I chit the sometimes tough skin off?

    Yes do some of each, see which you prefer. Personally I like them both ways!
    Guessing but skin on is better for you!

    Yes of course that is very sensible DavidK. I think I will take it off of the bigger ones that tend to be tough and leave it on the smaller ones.
