    Hi Charles,

I’m planning on turning one of my raised beds over to growing cut flowers, Gladioli, Dahlia, etc this season.
I’m curious to know what effect, if any, this will have on rotation in future seasons?

    Don.

A great move Don and its another aspect of rotation. If you were a 4 year person you would need to check the families of each flower e.g. asters are same family as lettuce, but it would not bother me and many flowers are different families to veg.

Thanks Charles I will go and check them out. I do use a four year rotation.
I’m not really a flower person, apart from planting Marigolds and other beneficial plants but I’m going to give it a try this season as I have additional space.

    Don.
