Looking for some advice. I have just cleaned out a duck pond rich in duck and chicken manure, rotted leaves etc. Can this be used to fertilize vegetable plots or feed tomatoes?
Great idea, I would call it feeding the soil rather than fertilising plants. Spread it now to encourage more soil life and if you don’t have enough bare soil, keep some for later use. I expect there are a lot of weed seeds, but worth some extra weeding for its goodness.
