    Hi Charles, have a bumper harvest from my allotment following all I have learned from you. Thank you.
    Only problem is early potatoes very badly damaged by wire worm (tiny holes going deep into potatoes). They were planted into undug soil and covered with several inches of well rotted one year old manure. Would be grateful for any thoughts/ideas.

    That is annoying! Wireworms are really hard to deal with, if they are there they are there, whether soil is dug or not and I don’t have a remedy, perhaps someone else has.
    I am glad your crop was good at least. Is it only one type/variety that is damaged?
