Hello Charles I’m currently trying an experiment growing lettuce in a trug that is off the ground (away from slugs) the growing medium is a mix of yr old cow manure, spent coffee grounds and multi purpose compost. 1 half of the trug I have ground up some seaweed and spread it all around the lettuce seedlings the other side I haven’t, this side I will water with comfrey feed I have made myself.
