Will my vegetable plants survive attack by flea bettle or should i admit defeat and pull them out! : (
Hard to say, is this recent or earlier sowings?
Flea beetle is on the wane from now so you can sow rocket, oriental leaves, radish, turnip, with less damage. Their numbers are higher than usual after so much dry weather then diminish as it dampens and with the time of year.

I have bad flea beatle on my allotment and did try covering things up but without much success, so I have oriental leaves and Rocket sown in modules at home that will be planted out at the allotment in about a month or so when most flea beatle will hopefully have gone. I will also sow my winter radish in a few weeks in the hope that by the time they come up the flea beatle will be gone. I no longer bother with summer radish although if Im lucky I can get a very early sowing. I am also trying Turkish rocket which is supposed to be less susceptable.
Hi Lorraine, brassicas have an amazing ability to come through summer, which is often difficult for them when dry, then grow strongly in the more suitable, damp conditions of autumn. Long-term croips like swede, brussels, purple sprouting and kale have plenty of time yet. Radish may not recoever but you can resow.
