Have people started fleecing their salad leaves yet?
Our first frosts here are about mid November and so I didn’t put fleece on until the beginning of November last year. Guess it depends what you grow as well?
guess i was wondering if it might help already…no rush then
Yes best wait until any really cold winds arrive because fleece does keep a little light out. In spring when days are longer, that does not matter because winds are often cold, but now it is mild and days are already as short as in late March.
