    Hello Charles

I am in Outer London and there are a few frosts predicted for the next few days. My apricot tree has already got flower buds. Should I protect with fleece? Would the buds be affected without the protection?
If using fleece on trees, would you lay directly on the tree or try and keep it from touching the branches?

    Thanks for your advice.

If the tree is free standing it is worth just laying fleece over and without support.
The frosts will be lasting over a month I think, so it won’t be easy.
