I have a half plot in Beverley where I used to live, which I have retained because of the superb fertility I have managed to build up and the friends I have there. However; a new problem has cropped up. I am getting a lot of damage mainly to leeks and seed beds. It started a couple of weeks ago when I had a good tidy up, lifted some spuds, levelled my comfrey bed and lifted my onions. My leeks have been decimated, (flattened and broken off) and there is quite a lot of soil disturbance. There was no sign of human footprints and I think the local foxes are to blame. They do breed nearby and are definitely becoming more numerous. Nearby plots appear untouched and I can only think they like the relatively open area I have recently created. Does anyone else have problems with urban foxes?
Cheers
Pete
