    Please can you tell me if you bother to blanch your vegetables before you freeze them.

     I do blanch, having compared the effects with unblanched. Both were edible but the blanched (flash boiled and rapidly cooled!) ones tasted better, I think then it is important to cook them hardly at all once defrosted.
    PS congrats on having a surplus!

    Thanks. I planted far too many runner bean plants….. I’ll get it right one day!
