Fruit Cages

Hi,
Just starting out with a new garden and am looking to buy a fruit cage to protect planned fruit plantings and possibly other vegetables if they need that sort of protection. I’d appreciate any advice on what I should be looking for in a fruit cage, eg. construction, brand, type of mesh etc. I am a real novice at gardening so thanks for any advice.

I should wait until your fruit plantings are established and close to fruiting. Then its often enough to lay mesh or net over fruiting plants and bushes, similar for veg. Cages are expensive and a hassle to work around.
