How did you do it, some details please… distances between garlic planting and how and when did you sow beetroot? Thanks Charles! 2nd September 2014 at 5:10 am #25602 charlesModerator Garlic grown in 40cm rows across beds, then early June beetroot sown between each row. You could use module plants also, it works so well. Or sow carrots, fennel. 3rd September 2014 at 3:14 pm #25603 lorraine lawrenceMember is it too early to start planting garlic? and is it ok to use bulbs picked and dried from this years crop?
