I remember reading somewhere or on one of your videos that you mentioned that the area you are in is important to understand the growing season. I think you even related to it as a sector or something?
Im trying to understand this better as i want to plan out crops and what to plant when and where. Im doing research on the viability of starting some sort of business from selling greens etc..(only on a very small scale and part time as i have a full time job but start small and work from there)
I have been reading and listening to videos from a number of people like yourself or Richard Perkins or Curtis Stone and they all say the growing season for them is X amount of time for production and base it on the latitude coordinates of where they are.
Does this way heavily for us in the UK?

Hi Shane
We are zone 8b but that is an American classification.
Main thing is to note the weather, keep a log, look up climate details from your nearest Met Office station etc, be aware of first and last frost dates.
Simpler than that is to follow my sowing timeline! For you in London it will be similar to here.
Have a tunnel to extend the season is important for selling.
